New Brunswick
New Brunswick, New Jersey is a city in Middlesex County, New Jersey. It is situated in Central Jersey about thirty-miles southwest of "the big apple", New York City. The city has a population of roughly 50,172 residents. The city has easy trasnportation access from the New Jersey Turnpike (Interstate 95) and Routes 1, 18 and 27.
New Brunswick is the home of Rutgers University which has three campuses in the city: College Avenue Campus, Douglass Campus, and Cook Campus, which boundaries extend into the external townships. Rutgers has made improvements with a few more buildings downtown in the last twenty years, both academic and residential.
For things to do in New Brunswick, one can go to Downtown New Brunswick which is a very vibrant place during the day and weeknights where people go to popular bars and restaurants such as SoHo or Harvest Moon. There are lots of people walking around and shopping, or simply taking in the day. Another favorite is the Zimmerli Museum on Rutger's campus, it has some excellent long-standing exhibits as well as interm ones that will leave you breathless.
