Rutgers University
Rutgers University, founded in 1766 as Queens College, is the 8th oldest college in the USA. It offers students 3 campuses in (1) New Brunswick (the largest campus), (2) Newark and (3) Camden. The main campus in central New Jersey, is basically in equidistant to New York and Philadelphia, approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to each major city. In addition, it's just short drive to the Jersey shore.
The educational programs offered are to only those students who have a SAT score of 1200 or greater, with more than 100 unique bachelor courses, 100 master's degree programs, and 80 doctoral and professional degree programs spread throughout 175 academic departments, 29 degree-granting schools and colleges, 16 of which offer graduate programs of study. In total, the university has an enrollment number of approximately 26,000 undergraduate and graduate students on their three campuses throughout New Jersey.
